Photography by Lindita Lushaj

This show is a heartfelt tribute to the captivating natural beauty of Lake Huntington, NY throughout the year. Its main objective is to showcase to viewers the sheer magnificence of our lake. Despite the occasional disruption caused by algae blooms, it is crucial that we prioritize the care and preservation of the lake, striving for improved water quality.

How can we achieve this? By fostering a sense of community and raising awareness about the importance of the lake. Engaging in open conversations, sharing ideas, and relying on scientific knowledge are essential steps. Regular testing and monitoring of the water, as well as the application of NYS approved chemical treatments, play a vital role in this process. The collective efforts in testing and treatments carried out thus far have greatly contributed to enhancing the lake's water quality.

It is worth mentioning that the funds raised are instrumental in supporting these treatment initiatives. The financial resources are allocated to conduct necessary tests, implement effective treatment plans, and ensure the overall well-being of the lake. Thanks to these efforts, people can joyfully engage in activities such as fishing and various water sports, relishing the lake's splendor.

Together, as a united community, we can appreciate and safeguard the natural treasure that is Lake Huntington, ensuring its continued allure for generations to come.
